For Healthcare Professionals

Information for physicians, physical therapists, and other providers whose patients may benefit from a non-medical skeletal strength and wellness program.

What OsteoStrong Is

OsteoStrong Juno Beach offers brief, coach-guided sessions using the Spectrum System, a series of devices that apply controlled, incremental resistance to support skeletal strength, posture, and balance. It is not a gym, a diet or supplement program, a pharmaceutical, or a medical treatment, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. We see it as a complementary wellness option that some patients choose alongside — never in place of — their existing medical care.

Why It Works

Research consistently links high-impact loading to bone strength, with studies identifying a minimum osteogenic threshold of more than four times body weight through the hip joint. Most adults avoid impact because of injury risk, so even active patients often fail to maintain bone health.

OsteoStrong’s Spectrum System uses impact emulation: patients perform a brief, controlled, self-limiting movement on each of four devices, under the direction of a trained coach, to load the skeleton at high intensity without the impact. OsteoStrong describes the program as an evidence-based musculoskeletal strengthening protocol that can complement pharmaceutical treatment or serve as a preventative approach.

What Your Patient Does

  • One session per week, about 10 minutes on the four-device circuit
  • Street clothes, no sweating, no high-impact movement
  • Coach-directed, with force output controlled by the member
  • Instant biofeedback on every device, measured in pounds and multiples of body weight
  • A progress report after every session, so results are tracked over time

Who May Benefit

  • Patients with osteopenia or osteoporosis
  • Pre- and post-menopausal women
  • Patients who are resistant to, or wish to complement, pharmaceutical treatment
  • Deconditioned patients needing strength and balance training
  • Patients with balance concerns or fall risk
  • Patients with chronic pain or poor posture
  • Patients completing physical therapy who need continued strengthening

Client-reported results, per OsteoStrong

Up to 14% increases in BMD over 12 months between DEXA scans, plus improvements in strength, balance, agility, and posture, and decreased joint pain. Individual results vary.

Referring a Patient

If you think a patient might be a good fit, we’re happy to have them come in for a complimentary session to see how it works and ask questions — no referral paperwork required. We’re not currently a formal partner of any specific practice or health system, but we welcome the chance to talk with providers directly about what we offer and how it might fit into a patient’s broader plan of care.
